Several steps are needed to effectively use the hydrological
data in scientifical analyses:
- data acquisition,
- data handling,
- data validation and control,
- data organisation,
- data diffusion to the scientifical community.
Past collaboration between the Hydrology and
Land Improvement Laboratory and private institutions has allowed
development of a complete software, named CODEAU-R,
to handle hydrological data.
CODEAU-R is made up of two modules. Module
I is meant for data import (from any text file) and for primary
processing (in graphical and interactive mode). The made corrections
are marked by several quality codes. Module II is meant for
the analysis and treatment of hydrometeorological data in conjunction
with research and /or modeling studies.
The main reference concerning this software
is: Consuegra D., De Souza P., Musy A.,1994, "CODEAU: A
data base package for the assessment and analysis of hydrometeorological
data"; HYDROINFORMATICS 94, Proceedings edited by Verwey
A. et al., Balkema editors, ISBN9054105127.
Here below are presented the main modules of
the CODEAU software:

to edit, controle and validate the hydrological data with CODEAU-R
software. |
